We went here with 20 people after a baptism. The whole staff was amazing. That alone would have been great but the brunch Buffett had something for everyone. We plan on going back in the very near future, and to use them agai. When wr jave family in town.

Worst pickup experience at a restaurant. Waited in line about 15 minutes to find out the young lady that answered the phone and took the order didn't bother to enter it into the computer. Waited another 15 minutes for them to re-take the order. No apology for the delay just attitude. Grub-hub guy in front of me claims to have been here for over an hour and kitchen is trying to get him out.Many better options in Stamford for take out pizza and customer service.

I was visiting from California and we stopped in for dinner. The pizza is very good and it's very authentic Italian. Casual dining but a full menu of fantastic and freshly made dishes. You will not be disappointed, highly recommended.

Same owner Tom. Even same waitress. Don't live in Stamford anymore. Glad some things from my childhood 40 years ago stay the same. Now if only there were 60s muscle cars and a Friendlies up the street still, all would be right with the world.... BQ

Great pizza! Still good after 40 years!

Been eating at Mario for many years. The pizza has stayed the same, great tasty pizza they have always made. Food has always been good. The only downside is their parking situation, small lot.

Live within walking distance to Mario's. Been going there since it opened. Pizza, salads and other dishes very good and reasonably priced. Service very friendly.

I ordered online, a pizza and calzone Friday night at 5pm, the email said it would arrive at 5:40 and it didn’t show up until 6:15. When it arrived the crust and the bottom of the pizza were burnt black. I’m from Long Island so I’ll admit that I have high sandards for pizza, but this was just so thin and burnt that I was very disappointed after waiting for over and hour.

Excellent pizza. I'm not from the area and was pleasantly surprised to find the pizza was tasty. Unfortunately I did not try any other dishes, but it appeared to be great Italian food using good ingredients. The staff was friendly and welcoming as well as the dining area. Would definitely go back if I'm back in the area.

The best!! I have never had a bad experience. The pizza is excellent and the entree we have tried are good, too. Plus, everyone I’ve encountered has been great. I highly recommend Mario’s.

Amazing brunch !

The waitress was very laxed. When we're done with eating I asked for my food to be put in Togo containers, she took the food and came back 15min later. Then when I paid with my credit card she for got to give me back the card. I left with out it not realizing and had to come back 2 days later because they were closed on Monday.....she wasn't the regular waitress I have had in the past. When I return I will make sure I don't get that one again. Food was good tho

Fantastic! A+ I have been here many times with many people. They are always happy with what they order. Wait staff is kind and attentive and the owners are pleasant and mild mannered -- quick to greet guest and ask how you meal is.

I've been coming here since the mid eighties. My favorite pizza in Stamford. Delicious entrees that remind me of my grandmother's cooking and a tasty Gorgonzola salad.

Nice customer service over the phone and when I went to pick up the pizza. The pizza overall had a good taste and was decently priced. We'll be back to try additional menu items.

Food and service were outstanding!

Today it was the second chance I give to them... I ordered a margherita pizza and the only flavor I could feel was a very salty tomato... it is tomato and bread... I wouldn't mind if it was cheap... that's what it is bad quality cheap pizza but they charge a lot.... desapointed

Great brunch for $19.99 but best to go to first sitting.

Waitress was very friendly, salad (especially dressing) was very good, Escarole and bean soup was ok but way too many beans, broth little too thick, and couldn't see any escarole. But flavor was good.
